According to RFU twitter update, Waldrom is on his way out to cover Nick Easter who is suffering from a 'sore back'... God help us!

He could well be back in a few days - remember Austin in 2003?

Since he is not an official replacement, Im assuming he will only stay if Easter is ruled out?

Still, compounds problems for tigers.

If he isn't retained, a trip to NZ and back will render him useless for Saturday.

Not sure if the "us" is Tigers or England ... but my view great gain for England and big hole for us...

If England make the final (a real possibility after Ireland's win) we will be missing players for 7 rounds ... they won't step off a plane Tuesday ready for Sale (R7) on Friday ...

The sooner England exit the better our chances of league success .. sure we can make 4th and playoffs but....

Good luck to TT...

Just notices TT is cover ... rather than in the squad .. he could be on a plane back by next Monday ... if so maximum dispruption to Tigers squad with no benefit to England ... and rowntree, wells and johnson are all ex-Tigers .. has Cockers upset them in some way.

It would not be the first time a interntional has flown round the world to join a touring party for nothing

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that he might get an opportunity but to fly him 24 hours round the world the week be4 Sarries come to Welford as precautionary cover seems a little un fair on us. Easter could be fine by Friday meaning TTT will be back next week having gained no game time and a bucket load of jet lag.

Good on him... I have no doubt if he gets a game he will impress, however yet another tigers player missing... who else is left? Anthony Allen is in good form he will be the next to go!

Do tigers get any compensation money for increasing the population of New Zealand for 2 months?

one would like to think that Flutey would get the first nod if a centre is required given he only just missed out before.

anyway have we got an under 12s back row player that fancies a game cos I think that's what we must be down to!
