If you have plenty of time, you might consider our itinerary.
We're flying EMA-CDG at 06.45 on the Friday and catching the 13.01 train from Paris (Gare de Lyon) to Clermont and are due to arrive around 16.25. We're staying at the Hotel Lafayette which is almost directly across the road from the railway station and equidistant between the town centre and the Stade Marcel Michelin. We'll be catching the 08.29 train back to Paris on the Monday, having lunch and an afternoon in the capital before flying back to EMA on the 19.25 flight.

Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

We're driving and using the chunnel - it's about 11 hours but works out to only £80ish a person if 4 go in a car. It would be a lot cheaper if it weren't for the pesky French and their tolls!

The first time we went there we got a cheap flight to Limoges then hired a car and drove up the mountain to Cleremont. Plenty of good value hotels in the city and good rugby pubs/bars. Take your winter woolies with you, its freezing.

Last year we went by train from St Pancras.

LTASC will be running coaches from the ground to Clermont but have no details yet info will be posted here and the unoffy site when available also information should be in the program and posted up in the ground this year. We will also be doing a trip to the Ulster game in January. LTASC will be running trips to all Premiership away games as usual .
