I see that the next stage of the stadium redevelopment is out to tender.
Has anyone any knowledge of which section it is (Crumbie, Clubhouse End, or the Blanket & Cushion)?

Re: Stadium Redevelopment
It has long been stated that the next stage would be the construction of a multi-storey car-park on the land behind the Crumbie. I think this is a pre-requisite for further development and a potential money-spinner for Tigers so don't be too surprised to see it go ahead fairly soon.
Always a Tiger
Re: Stadium Redevelopment
Could possibly be that, I've seen the planning drawings a while ago, but hadn't seen anything recently. Allegedly it's worth up to about £10 million, so quite a sizeable change on the way.bluntiger wrote:It has long been stated that the next stage would be the construction of a multi-storey car-park on the land behind the Crumbie. Re: Stadium Redevelopment
There was some detail in the Mercury a couple of months back. The Tigers will float on the stock market in November time and then choose one of three possible options to update the Crumbie and the waste land behind it. The crumbie will gain new changing rooms and a new medical facility whilst behind it will be a multi storey car park (between 750-1000 spaces) and a hotel.
The options for the Crumbie are dependent on whether or not to alter the standing area as if that is changed then the health and safety rules are changed and it would mean that the capacity for that section would have to be lowered but if they just alter the stand around it they can get away with out having to change the capacity.
That's a basic version anyway. Search the Merc for the full detail.

Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

I hope the floating on the stock exchange doesn't mean we will end up as
a wealthy arab's play thing as per wendyball!

Hope November looks rosier
