Word is ---he will be signing for us--- but obviously not playing until after the World Cup.
Wait and see-------but the info comes from the 'orses mouth, so to speak...

Re: Ashley--Cooper
Not doubting your source but would be very suprised if this is true, unless something has gone seriously wayward with Tait?!

Re: Ashley--Cooper
He was linked but I presumed it was him or Tait and he also signed a deal with the Waratahs, leaving the Brumbies.

Not doubting the source but it would be a serious U-turn from him and how would we afford him, unless the Tait deal is off and it was only a week or so ago that Cockers said the deal was still on.

Re: Ashley--Cooper
The possible move was first reported back in November; unconfirmed rumours at that time were very positive. In which case I can't see that it links with Tait.
Re: Ashley--Cooper

Re: Ashley--Cooper
Has signed for the Waratah's fr next Super 15 season... and fulfils similar roles to Tait... I'd be surprised but having that kind of class in your squad is only a bonus and you're not often wrong.norfolkexpat wrote:Word is ---he will be signing for us--- but obviously not playing until after the World Cup.

Re: Ashley--Cooper
This seemed almost nailed on around Christmas time.
I believe AAC has now backed out, the money was reallocated to keeping Castro and Tait has been brought in to fulfil the same role at a much lower cost.
