Fantastic!
Let the critics chew (or choke!) on that!

Well done to both, deserved winners!
"Tuilagi pooled over 60% of the player votes finishing ahead of Northampton Saints' Tom Wood and Saracens' Owen Farrell, who his side will face on Saturday in the Aviva Premiership Final."
That's quite a landslede for Tuilagi especially considering he beat the Aviva Premiership Player of the Year into second.
Nice work

Congratulations to both of them, well-deserved awards for their overall contribution to the season.

Now Waldrom has some recognition for his class play will Cockerhill finally see sense and give him the start in the final?

Its a tough call, as Crane played really well against Saints. We may need his grunt and workrate against a tough Sarries pack. Waldrom to come on after Crane has mashed them up a bit.

Re: Waldrom and Manu win RPA awards
I wonder whether it'll be Paul Ackford or Stuart Barnes who breaks the news of vote rigging in the RPA Awards.
Re: Waldrom and Manu win RPA awards
Personally, I'd start with a back-row of Croft, Newby and Waldrom, but I would be bring on Woods and Crane on the hour.
Sarries biggest strength is their back row, particularly Burger and Joubert so just tell Newby and Waldrom to give the 100% in the 60 minutes and bring on Woods and Crane for the last 30 mins to see it through. Ditto the front row. You could make a serious arguement for 6 forwards on the bench for Saturday.

Re: Waldrom and Manu win RPA awards
Great to see Manu & TTE winning at the RPA.
So - why exactly was it Manu couldnt be there to collect in person? Unlike TTE (who also wasnt there) it couldnt have been preparations for this weekend, so was it
a) protection (no photos of a Manu under the influence)
b) embarrassment
c) coincidence
d) squad rules

Freddie was interview on radio Leicester tonight (recorded at the awards) and he said Manu has flown back to Samoa to see the folks.

How long do you intend on them having to play for?bluntiger wrote:... so just tell Newby and Waldrom to give the 100% in the 60 minutes and bring on Woods and Crane for the last 30 mins ...
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.
