The Jets' first defeat! Well played lads! Semi-final I think is away to Harlequins.

An excellent result.

Might be some physical "own back" with Sequins?

An excellent result indeed.

Here's a more complete report with the final score. From the Sale site

To allow the paranoid ones among us to maintain their conspiracy theories.

I think its more likely that Cockerill realises he needs them to add a bit more impact to the bench on saturday !

Or it just may be that 12T's injury last week is still causing a problem (and Harrison is replacing Ben Youngs in the first XV :smt002 ).

I'd imagine Harrison and Twelvetrees will be part of the extended squad that travels to Dublin. It was a very young A Side and only Hipkiss had any real first team experience. The front row was Harris, Stevens, Bower so not even Duffey was risked. Probabley due to Twelvetrees picking up a knock last week and Cockers wanting everyone in good health ahead of the big game.

Imagine if Billy had agravated the knock and then Staunton or Flood pulled out before the game. The back up fly half would be either Youngs out of position or Ford who is still only 17! Clever Cockerill agreeing an easy A league game with Sale as both sides had already qualified.
