Just wanted to say a big "thank you" to Matt O'Connor for coming to Market Harborough Rugby Club today and handing out medals and trophies from the under 7's to the under 12's.
My son's team Belgrave got to the under 8's final and lost, but seeing a smiling Matt and shaking his hand made things better for them.
He seemed to enjoy their thank you celebration as well, especially "And don't forget the champagne!".

Matt O'Connor at Harborough RFC today
And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!

Yes and last week Wig (Graham Rowntree) was there when Hinkley were playing. He had a son in one of the matches.
Do you have any news on the U12 lad who was air-lifted to hospital?

No wirral tiger i don't.
Play was stopped for a long time ans with the under 8's being at the top of the field, we only saw the helicopter coming in and leaving.
Couldn't get much from the club other than he was ok.
Send best wishes to him and his family though

I'm told he was diagnosised with whiplash and was home with his family in the evening.
