Re: Toulon Crowd
Did the handbags match the pink shirts? Nice to see the linesman back away when it all kicked off

Did anyone also notice that the crowd are silent for kicks, I thought this didn't happen in France?

I was an eye witness to these terrible moments and I could hear all the profanity in French.
Have mercy on me, Rizzo !
Indeed I will, but maybe not so much mercy on those who persist with the cheerleaders garbage. It does get tedious when it is added to several threads.
Lets have some halftime entertainment like this .... anyone who has ever skipped will realise how amazing this is.
It's long but REALLY worth while watching the whole lot

God created rugby so footballers have heros too

It is not so much tedious as creepy when self-confessed elderly men publicly slaver over the thought of teenage girls. Yeeuch.Rizzo wrote:

Re: Toulon Crowd
I still fail to see why some people feel it is almost compulsory to have half-time entertainment.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.
Re: Toulon Crowd
Half-time entertainment consists of a pee and a quick smoke!
Today is yesterday's tomorrow.

God, some of you whingers ought to lighten up a bit or are you all members of the flask and blanket brigade?

Re: Toulon Crowd
Some of us have the intelligence and command of the English language to be able to hold a coherent conversation about whatever subject we choose for the duration of the half-time interval. We are able to keep ourselves amused without the incessant invasion of some clown on a microphone or overbearing music.johnh wrote:God, some of you whingers ought to lighten up a bit or are you all members of the flask and blanket brigade?
FYI, I do not take a blanket to the games however, when it is my turn to drive and the weather is cold, I do sometimes take a flask of coffee.

I have consulted the Almighty.johnh wrote:God, some of you whingers ought to lighten up a bit or are you all members of the flask and blanket brigade?
Who assures me he/she favours not whingers or members of the flask and blanket brigade.
But he (or she) takes a dim view of those who take his (her) name in vain.
Might you choose to appeal to someone else?
Still keeping the faith!
