Re: AA Called up...
not as bad as mine. I hate :censored: internationals which will have no bearing on the WC at all!!!! What's the betting Waldouck can't play but DOES turn out for Wasps!!!
Re: AA Called up...
Fur fox ache, how many more players have we got to lose for this round of pointless international matches?
I know Quins have a few players out too but Jeez we seem to have taken the brunt of it.
I guess we'll all have to cheer that bit louder on Friday night.

Opportunity for 36 and Manu, but also for AA!
We may not want to lose another player to the AIs (Absolutely Irrelevants), but AA deserves praise for achieving recognition, and working hard for Tigers - rarely misses his tackles, never shirks one, and brings intelligence to the 12 shirt.
Well done AA!

Sponsorship deals may come and go but the CRUMBIE stand will always remain.

Whilst a offering best wishes and a very well done to AA I'm somewhat mystified how the selectors have arrived at that decision ahead of Barclay (I think he's fit)
Anyone offer an explanation?

Barclay can't cope under pressure at international standard.Crumblies wrote:Whilst a offering best wishes and a very well done to AA I'm somewhat mystified how the selectors have arrived at that decision ahead of Barclay (I think he's fit)

Allen is two (three?) years on from where he was, let's see what he can do now

Re: AA Called up...
Should this, yet again, not raise questions about the structure of the season.
Personally I would propose as a start.
1) Move 6 nations to a block at the end of the club season.
2) Reduction to 3 Autumn internationals.
3) No Premiership rugby during International periods. (Yes I know the clubs voted for this, but I don't like it.)
4) The pool games for the H Cup, played as a block.
5) Scrap the bizarre format for the LV (or whatever it happens to be called this week) cup, or just scrap it.
Time to get down from my soapbox now!

Re: AA Called up...
we say the AI's are irrelevant but surely wqe all agree a team has to play together to gel? if they didn;t play these or the summer they would only play 5 games in the 6N's... and they can train as much as they want but the team need experience in the game..
as much as it may annoy us that our players are that good we lose them to the internationals I am sure a rugby players ambition is to play for his country.. and i for one don't begrudge them that.. we either do that or we start employing players from other countries so we end up not losing them.. myself i do not begrudge them and cockers knows this may happen with the quality of player he is signing..
