Fantastic hour for Youngsy. And a fantastic 80 for England. Nobody had a bad game. Many really made a point to the critics too. Cueto... Where did that come from?!

Hope Youngs isnt injured though...

Just brilliant. He didn't seem to care, I will run from anywhere, his break that led to Ashton's second try was breathtaking!
Well done Ben.
Really pleased for Jonno too as he and his team have taken some stick.

Leicester connection throughout! :smt038 :smt038 :smt026

england just have to make sure they dont let it slip now. Ireland only squeezed past samoa and england need to make a statement and put 40+ points on them and then beat south africa and it will be a very succesful autumn. Would that be possible with care at 9? i dont think so ben youngs is one of the best players england have had in a long time and i cant wait for the 6 nations so that he can ignite the back line to a grandslam

Ireland are a fading force and scraped a win against Samoa. England are on form, and playing a great brand of rugby. Samoa should be well taken care of. South Africa will come off the back of wins too, and will be hard to put down. Their forwards are impressive, and still have the cutting edge behind it. That, and Steyn will kick goals all day long, which O'Connor didnt today.

Grandslam will be tough for England with Wales and Ireland away, but, for the first time in a long while, we go in as real contenders. Maybe even favourites.

Must agree with kingol22: Ben was the heart of the England team and after he went off they did not look any where near as sharp. And this was despite Danny Care playing as well as he ever has for England showing that although he is a superb athlete but he thinks so slowly and doesn't have a tenth of Ben's rugby brain.

Toby didn't do too badly with 9 out of 9 kicks!

I cannot remember a better display from an England scrum half at Twickenham.
Please correct me if I am wrong. That has to be up there with Dawsons game for the Lions against SAfrica. Superb

Puts the game with Ospreys in perspective. Blood the youngsters. Don't get upset with any losses as long as they improve and then maybe they will be just as exciting to watch as BY, TF, TC & DC. The talent has always been out there. Shame it has taken so long for the RFU to see it?

But what it does is give England a platform to take forward into the World Cup.....I've nearly forgotten about the Payne, Borthwick and Haskell bad days ! As well as the Tigers players played, hats off to Lawes and Ashton...quality players who will be on the international scene for a good few years yet.

Has it taken the RFU that long to see it? How much longer than it has taken Tigers to see it?

If Tigers only play young promising players in mickey mouse games (and then all at once) you can hardlu blame the RFU for not noticing them.
Still keeping the faith!

O joy O joy! That has to be one of the best Saturdays ever! England superb. Youngs just brilliant, Floody superb, Crofty awsome, DC the best. Haved loved seeing Youngsy crying in the anthems, just shows what playing for England can mean. . . At last a passionate professional sportsman showing what your country can mean to you. Loved it!
