We had the same problem last season. It was eventually turned down... a bit. It now seems louder than ever.
Personally as far as I am concerned they could forget the so-called half-time entertainment, have a lower sound level and sooner rather than later those in the Cat would get to know those around them and the atmosphere would improve.

I think the problem is that the sound levels are tested when the stands are empty.

Thus the Crumbie (high density of noisy people) gets too lttle volume and the Members (sorry Cat) (low density of silent people) gets too much.

You could always try contacting the Stadium Manager via the contacts page.

Loud enough on the Crumbie at the front - but so much echo that you couldn't understand a word, particularly at half time!

I was speaking to my wife on Saturday when the PA system came on and from then on, we couldn't understand each other and gave up - she was standing right next to me!

Saying it was loud doesn't do it for me. It was completely deafening. And as many have spoken up already, this is not new. In fact, it has been a problem from day 1 of the new stand.
