Prem matches w/e 04/09/10

Post by Purebob »

Interesting to see Falcons pounded by Sale 35-18, when according to stats Sale only won 33% of their own set piece ball.

Be interesting to watch the Irish / Saffers match later. I'm at a DK away game to Worcester but I'll watch on sky plus. Not often I root for Irish, but I will here !

What you got against Saffers? You dislike that nice Mr. Venter?

Sarries led 10-6 at HT. But Irish have flew out of the blocks in the 2nd half, scoring 2 tries in quick succession and lead 21-10.

21 - 13 now. Hougaard penalty. Must be close to full time. Hang in there Irish.

Irish win 33-16 in the end. What a second half from them. 4 second half tries take them to the top of the table.

Gloucester could be having a day to forget, as things just arent going their way. But what a day it could be for the Chiefs. Still 16-5.

Keep it going Exeter. Think Sandy Park is going to be a difficult place for most visiting teams.

Gloucester score through Taylor...

Real test for the Chiefs starts now.

Robinson misses his 5th kick from 5 today for the conversion, so its 16-10. 25mins to go.

Steenson gets a penalty for Exeter for an near instant repost for Gloucester.

19-10 :smt001

In an opposite to Robinson, Steenson has 5 from 5 now.

In other news...

Australia have again flew out of the blocks against the Boks. Leading 31-6 after 25 minutes. Parallels from last time, but it has been a devastating start for the Aussies. No way back from this surely!
