Just off the Welford Road as you drive into the out skirts of Northampton is the multi award winning real ale pub, The Queen Adelaide (http://www.queenadelaide.com)
Next weekend is our 5th Beer Festival, featuring 30 beers and a selection of ciders and perrys.
We are also crazy about our rugby, so it's an ideal place to enjoy a few beers as part of the build up on Sunday.
We are open from 11.30am on Sunday. I hope everyone has a great day and it ends in a draw!
The future is cherry and white!

How long would it take to walk there from the station or stadium?
Re: For those travelling down to Northampton on Sunday.
It's a £5 taxi or a good 25 minute walk.

Sorry...but living in Kingsthorpe I would like to disagree with that! No where near 25 minutes, even going the shortest route (through by the river) it would take a good 50mins to an hour brisk walk.
It is a very nice pub though - have been in a couple of times! Would definitely reccomend

under 15 mins if you are one of those olympic walkers with the strange gait....
perfectly nice pub though, despite a glos supporting landlord. if you have a designated driver itds worth dropping by....
....to drown your sorrows on the way home
possibly
