Re: New Away Shirt
what a horrible kit dreary kit (in my opinion of course). The blue one was far better and this one looks just like the newcastle kit. I will most definitely not be buying an away shirt this time.
Another disappointment from cotton traders, providing a poor kit and poor quality standards where if anyone wants to buy a decent shirt that isn't an inch thick of cotton and wants any kind of light material they will have to pay £70 for the player quality shirt, which usually doesn't come out for months after the normal one.
As I have previously said, I don't think that the likes of Adidas or Nike would have made such a hash of things...
Not that this will stop me from supporting the club though

TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!
Re: New Away Shirt
Is it really Cotton Traders fault? Surely the design would have been negotiated between Cotton Traders and Leicester Tigers. The final approval would then surely have been from Leicester Tigers.
I guess if you want to really blame anyone then it would be the club. I personally have never had an issue with Cotton Traders wear. I certainly prefer the blue over what we have got for the next two seasons but well, there you go.
I think a few people mentioned earlier a white shirt with red and green flash. I would have much preferred that over this new Grey/Platinum shirt.
Quoted from the news flash - "The Supporters' Forum provided some very positive feedback during the development of the kit and, together with the new range of black training wear, we anticipate a lot of interest when the full range becomes available."
It would appear that the supporters forum did not provide enough feedback. As for "a lot of interest"... well that remains to be seen. Time will tell!

Re: New Away Shirt
It is, of course, all a clever marketing ploy to get us all to buy away shirts every year, since next year they will have to modify this one by adding two more stars, one over the logo and one on the back!!

Re: New Away Shirt
scrap - with the s in the wrong place. mind you the pitch looks fantastic in the picture
and I also agree with the idea of white with red and green flashes. didnt we play some french team in an ideal shirt a few seasons ago - preseason

I agree on the white shirt with red and green flashes.
Re: New Away Shirt
I normally buy the new shirt each year (which i guess lots of other may do) but i'm sorely tempted not to bother with this one. Just hoping it looks better in real life. fingers crossed.

Dull Shirt, think I'll ask for New Training Shirt instead.
Just a point, we are an English Club why no English Player at the launch?

Re: New Away Shirt
How insipid!! As was the blue.
I think the ABs have a big advantage with their dark intimidating shirt. I would much prefer to see Tigers in a black one if we cant wear our traditional colours.

Re: New Away Shirt
can't have black the rules state one has to be light coloured and one dark coloured ... if we keep green/red as one kit the other has to be light coloured...

Maybe they were busy at an England training camp? Or just too ugly....Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote:Dull Shirt, think I'll ask for New Training Shirt instead.

Re: New Away Shirt
OK OK jokes over tigers.
Remove the picture of the lads wearing the old kit that's been washed 100 times and give us the real kit.
Alternatively a big thank you for saving me money, this will be the third away kit on the bounce that I won't be buying.

I'd like to see a view of the back too, to see what these "stars" look like. As long as they're fairly discreet.
Keep up...Imaginatively different from ... Newcastle Falcons, produced by ... Cotton Traders. Funny that.
So after all this waiting... Also, from the little diagram it looks very much like the Falcon's away shirt from last year, but with grey on top of the shoulders/arms, rather than white.
