Watched the game. First half was all Toulon but they failed to convert it into points and THREE second half tries for Cardiff topped an outstanding 40 minutes. Cardiff thoroughly deserved their win.

Bit of a thriller in the the end - well done Cardiff. I'm not sure whether having a Heineken Cup drop-out winning rather than a team originally in it is good or bad for the status of the second-string trophy, though.

Good game and Cardiff deserved the win. A cup goes to the Principality and Scarlets get in the back door. Thats all 4(?) regions in the HC next season. But again well played Blues.

Surprised noone has mentioned that Toulon were in complete control and cruising it untill Jonny had to go off, his injury really seemed to galvanise the blues and Toulon looked pretty rudderless without him there. Hope its not going to be another serious injury :smt009

Thought Cardiff did a bit of a Tigers v Bath and throttled the game in the second half. If Jonny could have made a difference? I don't know. What was his injury by the way? It didn't seem hamstring though it came after a kick.

Lower back, he hurt it in the passage of play before, but did his usual 'Il be fine' trick, tried to kick and he quite clearly wasnt fine lol Yeah I couldnt see Toulon losing when he was on the pitch, was on form with the boot, tactical kicking and distribution were excellent, poor old Tom May was very out of practice at 10 wasnt he though?
