Dan Cole
I see there is a Dan Cole listed in Nottingham's side for this weekend against Bedford. Is this our Dan Cole? Is this just to get game time in?

Im guessing he is one of many younger members of our squad who are dual registered.

Re: Dan Cole
Could just be a short term arrangement (if it is indeed him) to help him regain fitness following his injury. He's played no part this season and with no immeadiate A League game he needs the chance to get some game time under his belt so he can be ready to step into the front row when the AIs begin.

Yes, we need to get him some game-time before he is needed at Welford Road.

Dan Cole
With all the injuries to englands front row players it looks as the Dan cole could be in line for an england call up as he is in the saxons team however i looked on the bbc website and it says he was injured. correct me if i'm wrong wasnt he in the nottingham team vs bedford yesterday?
Re: Dan Cole
Yes he was in the Nottingham team yesterday but that was his first appearance all season as until this weekend he has been out injured.
I very much doubt that he will be considered for the AIs given that his entire competitive rugby so far this season has been 40 minutes in the Championship (he was subbed at HT yesterday)

Re: Dan Cole
I can see it being a Bath 1/3 for England, with Flatman and Bell taking the shirts. Corbisero's in the same situation as Dan Cole in that he's just coming back from injury so it might be a month too early for the pair of them.
To be honest a Flatman, Hartley, Bell front row isn't exactly looking weak!

Re: Dan Cole
I was bit perplexed about Dan Cole and the media reports as well. He had an OK game yesterday in what was an excellent match.

I will let you off this time, as you are new, but you would of mr bean able to read that there is another post already further down the board that would of answered your question, and the moderators get a bit narked when there is a hint of a similar post on the board.Mr Bean wrote:With all the injuries to englands front row players it looks as the Dan cole could be in line for an england call up as he is in the saxons team however i looked on the bbc website and it says he was injured. correct me if i'm wrong wasnt he in the nottingham team vs bedford yesterday?
