I am not too good with technology either, someone is telling me it is because of the network that I am on? Nevermind!
I think I see you on the group, if you message any of the guys on the right hand side and tell them about what you are doing they can help you set up a link from this site to you. Plus they can send out a group message to everyone signed up to this group. Mass marketing, hope this helps you with the facebook side of things.

Re: CT is doing a 230 mile Walk4Matt
If you give me a link and a little info piece about what you are doing I can put it on the main Tigers facebook site, they don't have the option of contacting anyone to send group messages out as far as I can see. But I can set up a link from their page to your just giving page if you like?
That is the sum of my technological capacity!

I promised I would donate after payday, which I have now done!!
Re the facebook group, if you made someone else an admin, they could update it with snippets from your main website. Maybe?
I would volunteer, but I can't find the group at the mo!!

Thanks Suz, really appreciated
All that Facebook stuff will take some time to sink in. I have to go out today so will have a bash tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. It sounds like a good idea.

Er, is this helpful? That is the link on the bar...
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=121952968415
It would be great if someone would do the message thing for me. The best link to advertise is my
http://www.alixwood.co.uk/WFM.htm
link as that's the one I'll be updating most and it links to the justgiving site. But if you can only do the facebook group that's fine. Thank you so much.
Supposed to be going to a party tonight but husband has poked himself in the eye. The things people do to get out of a party. Oh well.

Yes, that's great I've now got your group. I've spoken to the guys running the facebook site, they will put a message up and send a message out. So that will go out soon. They will use both link details, so you are covered on both counts. If there is anything that you think is missing let me know and I can update the message. If you need anything else, let me know, if I can help I will.

I'm hoping to walk with CT for part of the day on Friday 18th, from Princethorpe.
Are there any other fans local to Rugby who would like to join us?

Thanks so much Surfing Tigress. We'll have to get together for a drink once I'm back home.
Tiggger, that is a great idea, get in touch with mission control [email protected] to make sure we meet up. I have a feeling my plans may be a bit fluid once I start hobbling!

Re: CT is doing a 230 mile Walk4Matt
Thanks Hannah, yes it has. Really appreciated Oh it's all getting quite scary now. My husband bounced in yesterday saying 'great news we've got you an interview on Radio Exeter'. GREAT NEWS? Panic. What am I going to wear? Will I babble like a moron. Well, that's a certainty.harry_rocks_yes_he_does wrote:With any luck my donation should have got to you by now too, CT!
