The Mercury is reporting that we are still playing Leeds on the Sunday! :

Peter Wheeler, Tigers' chief executive, said Leicester would field two separate teams but insisted the one to face Leeds would be "competitive".

Tigers v Boks

Its a pity it is the night before and England game, it would have been nice to see a strong Tiger's team (Including all internationals) run out against the Boks.

it looks like an academy team will probably play leeds then still should be 2 good games or 2 great games if we win

So it appears this game will be 2 days before the match against Leeds. What does that suggest about team selection? Can we expect a resonably full strength team to play against South Africa?

I believe that Tigers are looking to reschedule the fixture against Leeds. The team against the Boks should be a relatively strong side, minus the England internationals.

So did I! But then what do we know.

I am sure the Academy players will enjoy the game and the victory! (against Leeds that is)

Before PM'ing complaints about this post to our lovely Mderators, who I am sure are tucked up in bed fast asleep, any references to Mice and Walt Disney are entirely in your minds and your minds alone. I have not made them. OK?

If that is the rescheduled date, then I have missed an announcement.

Leeds normally play their home games on a Sunday hence it is down to be played on the 08th November.

The Sunday is the confirmed date of the Leeds game. It isn't being moved to a different weekend for the simple reason that there isn't another weekend available to move it to!

The two games will be shoe-horned in to the same weekend period.

I too got the 'current queue is 20 minutes' meassage, called straight back and was answered on the second ring. Tickets booked.

Send the academy boys up to leeds for the AWC and play a full-strength side against the boks and hopefully turn them over. I just hope they play some of their better players - Pienaar, Spies etc.

Clearly a standard message! I was a bit more cheeky, decided to try online rather than wait, forgot my password etc. and rang to speak to an operator to sort out my password problems and she put me straight through- my bad memory serves me well!

It'll be the first time I'll see the new stand, hope the ground is full to the brim and the atmosphere is fantastic.
