Bath

Post by bluntiger »

There is a lot of speculation on the Bath website that there is going to be announcements today following their internal investigation. There is speculation that three players will be sacked.

They are speculating on names which I will not repeat but they are first team players. Would be really sensational and would have a major impact on the club.

I am suprised by the names who have been mentioned! Certainly one of them who I rate, and still rate until allegations are confirmed.

I wouldnt want to gloat.
If there is a problem, it is unlikley to be limited to one club and who knows what links to other players may be involved?

There is a real strange culture in Bath and around Bath Rugby.

A small rugby-mad city, the players are apparantly treated like major celebrities in the bars and clubs and that can really play to the players egos if they allow it to and that certainly effected Matt Stevens and may well claim some other casualties.

Bath Site forum - closed

Post by eales92 »

In the wake of the recent events at Bath, the clubs site have temporarily disabled access to the fan forum to stop any talk of the recent 'issues' at the club. I know we've already said it on here but other website forums have been told to keep talk about the events minimal,
just thought id let all of my fellow tigers know :)

They've resigned as in left instantly!?

Blinking heck wasn't expecting those 3 players to be involved, the two captains of the team!

I am in dissaray but if it does turn out to be true then it is their own fault and they will have to face the consequences.

Ooh there's trouble down in the west country!

Crikey!!!!!
3 big players gone along with Matt Stevens there then.

Just hope this isn't something thats rife in rugby, don't want any of our boys, or anybody elses for that matter in this kind of mess.

Blinkin' heck!

Before anyone mentions it I wouldn't want any of them in a Tigers shirt especially after this has happened (that is of course if it comes out to be true) We don't need them anyway.

At this rate Bath will have to team up with Briz or Gloucester at this rate for pre season training as they wont have enough players to run the moves and hold the bags. :smt045
