Whatever the outcome today, thanks to all at the Tigers for a fantastic season.
I firmly believe that we will win this evening however I don't like to tempt fate. I am not superstitious but events over the last two years have taught me not to take things for granted and that fate sometimes can spoil a good party. I composed a lengthy post on the "divided loyalties" issue facing Geordan and Johnne earlier this week. I put alot of effort into it because coming from Naas, I understand the issue very well. Strangely I was quiet proud of my little treatise until I realised that I had been logged out and that my efforts were for nought. At that moment I realised how much effort these guys put into a season and how cruel it must be to be pipped at the post! Of course, one cannot help but feel sorry for the runners up.
I hope that we are treated to a spectacle of rugby, fair play and mutual respect between top class sportsmen. I would love to see Geordan lift the cup but if it doesn't happen, well so be it. Thanks for a truly entertaining season.
