If anyone else is stopping in Glasgow on the Friday and Saturday night i have been reliably informed that the Horseshoe bar on Drury street, Glasgow is the the most famous bar to go to. On the Saturday the trains run every 15 mins from Queen Street to Waverley station in Edinburgh which is about £10 each way and takes 50 minutes. Then the last one is back is 11.30pm - doh
