More fans going to cardiff

I see in the Merc, we are taking at least 10,000 fans on Sunday so a better turn out than the 6,500 people were talking about earlier this week.

A good fan base for singing, flag waving and cheering the TIGERS to success.

Lets hope so. I for one can't wait....the atmosphere at Heineken games is always great....and of course a good excuse to get the flags out!!!

I still think it is an embarrasing number if we want to be recognised as nationally significant in the world of sport. There was a bigger attendance for the Johnstone Paint Trophy football Cup (55,000) than what will be there Sunday and this involves teams ranked 93rd and 50th in the football league. This is the European Cup semi final!!!!

Not totally sure about the capacity of MS but i'm sure there will be more than 55,000 fans there. The place will be packed!!
Not to bothered really what football's upto with all there trophies, mostly tin pot.
However goodluck to both teams in the "paint cup".

'Packed' would be over 70,000. Sadly, there seems very little chance of getting anywhere close to that number.

The figure of 10,000 was, I believe, taken from a Millenium Stadium marketing piece trying to encourage additional Welsh support. It may well be somewhat inflated.

I think a lot more Tigers fans would have made the trip if the public transport situation had been any cop!
