As far as I know Rabeni, Erinle, Varndell and Kayser are confirmed as out and Parling, Duffy and 12Trees are in. Anything else is just at rumour level as far as I know.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
Re: Players in players out
Whilst still rumour, I think Allen in is becoming more solid by the day.

And without any further ado...Rizzo wrote:Not as far as I know, but kornboy will probably know & post suitably before long.
The confirmed goings are:
Ayoola Erinle - Biarritz
Ben Kayser - Stae Francais
Tom Varndell - London Wasps
Seru Rabeni - Gloucester
Marco Wentzel - Leeds
Ben Herring - Retirement
Martin Corry - Retirement
The Confirmed comings in are unknown, as we have not confirmed anyone coming in - but the ones that are as good as announced are:
Billy Twelvetrees - Bedford Blues
Jo Duffey - Nottingham
Geoff Parling - Newcastle Falcons
Anthony Allen - Gloucester
Rumour-wise there hasn't been anything new for a while - but here is the rough list from various sources in and out of the press and on various message boards etc etc:
Out:
Derick Hougaard - Newcastle Falcons/Perpignan
Mefin Davies - unknown, has said he'd like to stay on
Sam Vesty - Leeds - now looks very unikely.
Julien Dupuy - Stade Francais - rumours of him being homesick continue to surface, however he is also under contract and cockers has said they're coming to an agreement over his visiting home more times during the season and what not.
In:
Robbie Harris - Prop - Nottingham
Terry Bouhraoua - Scrum Half - Stade Francais - mentioned by Nells, also being looked at by Leinster. Not Rated by coach McKenzie but was rated by Galthie - is very lightweight though.
Tom Biggs - Winger - Leeds - Mentioned as having signed for Toulon, however last week he looked round Newcastle Falcons facilities so is obviously still availible.
Hope this covers it!
Re: Players in players out
Whoever comes in I hope everyone heeds the lessons of this season that ALL new plaeyers need time to adjust.
Dupry did it alsmost instantly but for me Woods and Flood have come good and we can look forward to a lot more from them next season.

Martin Corry - Retirement
Is this true ? I know it was strongly rumoured, but has the great man actually come out and said it?
I only ask because at the players awards last week somebody asked him what he was going to do when he retired at the end of the season and he replied with "Oh, I'm retiring am I?" type of quote.

Our period of waiting is over - this is the time.

Re: Players in players out
Kb - weren't there also rumours of Borino(sp?)departing?
Does anyone think that some of our promising youngsters will get the opportunity to step up?
By the way, it seems that some of them enjoyed the weekend games - Tonks and Cobden both scored 2 tries for Nottm, and Billy (the copse) Twelvetrees got 2 for Bedford. (Geoff Parling also came off the bench to get one in Newcastle's defeat at Quins).

I've heard nothing of Bonorino's possible departure, he is under contract for next season though.

Re: Players in players out
Do we need to sign Allen though - I've never been that impressed with him. At least he's not Ryan Lamb.
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

BBC is running story saying that in the next few days deals will be done confirming the departures of Ryan Lamb, Anthony Allen and Iain Balshaw
