Your XV to face USAP?

Post by Gibbo12 »

Hi, I was just wondering with all the injuries that we have at the minute, what could our line-up look like on Saturday to face Perpignan.

I'm not sure who is/isn't available to play this weekend, so your suggestions on this would be great. :smt023

Thanks

It should still be a pretty impressive XV with the England boys likely to feature. Hamilton may start at XV as I know Geordan has an injury from Sale game as does Hougaard. Watch this space.

1 - Ayerza
2 - Keyser
3 - White
4 - Kay
5 - Corry
6 - Croft
7 - Moody
8 - Crane

9 - Ellis
10 - Flood

11 - J Murphy
12 - Mauger
13 - Hipkiss
14 - Hamilton / Smith
15 - G Murphy / Hamilton

Not sure if Geordan or Ayerza will be available or not. I know there are issues at loose-head. I wouldn't put Rabeni in after his performance against Sale personally.

Sorry to ruin some of the line-ups, but Louis Deacon is definitely out, while White is expected to be missing with his neck injury and Newby is also a major doubt.

(That's based on what I've read today, not some mysterious inside source!)

1.Ayerza - i cannot believe anyone was choosing people ahead of him - player of the season for me.
2.Kayser
3.Bonorino (would prefer Cole or White)
4.Corry
5.Kay
6.Croft
7.Moody
8.Crane
9.Ellis
10.Flood
11.Smth/Varndell/Hamilton
12.Mauger
13.Rabeni/Hipkiss
14.Varndell/Smith/Hamilton
15.G Murphy

I saw Whitey yesterday. His neck is no worse than it was 4 years ago and he wanted to play at the weekend, but after a scan was advised against it. He reckons he'll be fit for Perpignan.
So surely
Ayerza
Chuter
White
Corry
Kay
Croft
Moody
Crane
Ellis
Flood
Smith
Mauger
Hipkiss
J Murphy
G Murphy
With the bench as
Cole
Kayser
Wentzel
Newby
Hamilton
Dupuy
Varndell
Would do very nicely.

It'll certainly be a great boost for the side if he is fit to play at the weekend. I haven't seen much of Bonorino, but whenever I have, I've not really rated him much.
