Newcastle vs Wasps on Sky, Why?

Post by TTRITH »

I'm sorry, how does a bottom of the table clash sould more intresting then a top of the table clash?

Even if Wasps had had a better start to the season, it would have been a walkover for them, no offence to Newcastle.

Sale vs Tigers was always going to be the better game, more intresting game and more enjoyable.

more importantly, why doesnt my dictionary have the word 'tigercentric' in it?

because such a word would be quite useful right about ....wait for it.....now.

Sky have scheduled the games well in advance and all clubs should get at least 2 games on TV in each half of the season.

Sky could not have forecast that it would be that way.

A bottom of the table clash could be mouth watering :smt002

If Sale opt for their kick-it-always game and Hougaard get sucked into a duel, it may well be a very dull game. Could be a great one too but it is not guaranteed.

Likewise bottom of the table clashes can be either terrificly tense and exciting affairs, or dull as dishwater drop-a-thons.

No matter what the game, you are never guaranteed a good one.

The team Newcastle are fielding looks dire and Wasps have a half decent side out but, dream for a while, wouldn't it be fantastic if Newcastle win.

I was on the Wasps messageboard this week, it makes compulsive reading, everyone so upset, calling for heads to roll, saying that they cannot match Leicester, that they are a poor club and that Shaun Edwards only cares about the Wales and Lions assignments. Read what ANDYWASP says, all in capitals!

Imaging the board at the weekend if they lose.

im sure that sky saw the potential of a wilkinson cipriani duel, however they probably didnt think it was internationals and that if fit they would both be away

Sale score very few tries and concede even less. They have not managed a single bonus point all season. Tigers have only one bonus point. It may well be an exceedingly dull game, especially since neither Vesty nor Flood are playing at 10.

Watching Wasps lose should be good fun, especially to hot relegation rivals Newcastle.

I will not watch either, but will listen on radio to Tigers.

The visiting ones on the terrace usually sing

"You are my falcons, my only falcons...
you make me happy when skies are grey..."

etc. to the tune of "You are my sunshine".

Falcons chants are about as imaginative as Tigers ones. Just replace the long 'i' in Tiiiiiigers with an 'a' for Faaaalcons. :smt002
