Hello all

I'm new to this forum and I have to be honest when I say my knowledge of rugby (the rules part at least) is poor. I am 24 and I have a season ticket at a football club (not Leicester). I have been interested in rugby for a few years but despite gaining two degrees from Leicester University, I have never been to a game at Welford Road. I may be frowned upon for being so obsessed with football but I have a lot of sporting geekiness to go round and my target is to try and understand the game of rugby. Hopefully I'll even get to a game this year, as long as they don't clash with my football team. My knowledge in terms of history is good, just not all the rules.

Anyhow, life story over. Apologies to those who have fallen asleep. I'll try not to embarrass myself.

welcome to the forum, reject. despite your football inclination, I'm sure there are quite a few users on here who will gladly educate you about rugby!

Thanks! I do need some educating but as someone who lives in the county and is developing a real fondness for rugby, I thought this would be the right place.
