Hi Pam, maybe coincidence but a friend of ours was round earlier whose hubby was a sky engineer(now works for himself) and he said sky were upgrading things this weekend therefore to expect some disruption - as I¬say, it could be coincidence??

No problems at my end, but that does sound like a build up of static. Usual solution is to power off, wait, unplug, wait, plug back in, wait, power up. The 'waits' are important, sometimes Sky will also tell you take out the card and wipe it gently with a soft tissue. Probably worth calling them anyway.
