Bath beaten by Leicester City in EDF Cup

Post by WhitecapTiger »

I kid you not!!!

Good old BBC East Midlands News, "One important rugby result in the EDF Cup today Leicester tigers beat Bath 19 points to 15" says the newsreader.....

Shame the caption for the on-screen score said Leicester City!!!!

I want my licence fee back, ineptitude on a major scale in my eyes, not that they'll be the slightest bit bothered!

I should be surprised.......but I'm not!!

The Beeb are laughing all the way to the bank: their internet feeds don't work and now they can't report the news (one of their primary functions) properly.

Marvellous.

just to clarify, the caption showed:

Bath 15 - 19 Leicester City!

wish i'd recorded it, just to convince myself that it actually happened (I know it did)

Not surprised it's a patronising and overrated institution that can't do very much well anymore.

I have less faith in that pair than I have in the beeb Bill, if the Beeb are the clowns then that pair are the joint ring-masters in Circus Britain!!
(I know this has nothing to do with rugby but.....) :smt002

Have to admit I would not choose either to run a p*ss up in a brewery or an orgy in a :censored:!

Bit like Randrew and Barron really (making it rugby related! :smt007 )

Hey BW - give it a rest with the expletives - adds nothing to any of the threads.

Apologies if I offend your sensitivities. Drinking session in a brewery and love in in a house of disrepute just do not ring the same somehow.

Sorry!

Well yeh, i checked the radio leicester website and it said 'live coverage of tigers vs bath from 2:15'. Odd then that the ONLY commentary on was that OTHER sport :smt011

I was staying near Bath for the weekend and watched the BBC news on Saturday evening. BBC News West announced that "a second string Bath went down at home to Leicester." No mention of the Tigers line-up. Those poor little second stringers, getting beaten up by the Leicester bully boys...
