What do we think of the team to face London Irish??
I am pleased with the choice, damn shame about Alex as I am not a big fan of Matt Smith, never seems to do much. Fingers crossed he will prove me wrong tomorrow (should have promise as his old man was a great player (Ian Smith)).
What do we think of our chances now???

Geordan Murphy for England
Murphy has only just got back from a knee operation and Matt Smith played very well last week. The only other option would be to move the best full-back to the wing and play Vesty to full-back, which no, is not a good idea. First home game of the season i expect to start with a bang. Should be aiming for the bonus point!

I would like to see Kayser start, also I would have put Murphy (G) on the wing and Sam Vesty at fullbackgooders060981 wrote:I am pleased with the choice, damn shame about Alex as I am not a big fan of Matt Smith, never seems to do much. I agree with soggy. I thought we might see Erinle on the bench at least after his run out on Wednesday. Perhaps that didn't go as well as planned, but at least he's not on the injured list.
Whilst last week was reasonable we will have to up our game, Irish must be buzzing after beating Wasps. Overall though I think they've lost much more than us through injury and we get Mauger back, or until the kick-off at least.
I have to go with Tigs, but not by much. Nails, prepare to be bitten.

Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.

I really hope tigers beat Irish but some part of the innate wariness of being a tigers fan says beware of this team. They did beat wasps last week and although wasps were useless i hope there isn't a horrible surprise waiting for us. Still as others have posted they are missing several key players.
