Where was the away kit?
Sorry for what could be a stupid question but where was the away kit on Sunday?
I just presumed that if we played away we would have the away kit on.

I maybe wrong (I normally am) but isn't only if there is a colour clash?slinky73 wrote:Sorry for what could be a stupid question but where was the away kit on Sunday?

God created rugby so footballers have heros too

i also believe the rule is if there is a clash of colours.Chobbsy wrote:I maybe wrong (I normally am) but isn't only if there is a colour clash?slinky73 wrote:Sorry for what could be a stupid question but where was the away kit on Sunday?

if you had to playin your away kit for away matches, imagine the havoc sale away at wasps would cause.
Wasps home -> all black
Sale away -> all very dark (almost back) blue
imagine trying to watch that match from the stands (although why would you want to! )

Another example of football ideas taking over-I seem to remember(back in the amateur days of course) it was the home team that changed strip in case of a clash of colours, an example of rugby's "respect to guest" ethic. It was one of the first things to go-never quite worked out why.
Just thought I'd mention it!!!

so in this case no clash... but yes your right kit only chnaged if clash and its the away team who change.. apart from internationals i believe...
Growing old is mandatory growing up is opiotnal
I also understood that it was the home team that had to change their shirts (as is the case with every other rugby game in the world).
However, I also think that it has more to do with marketing than colour clashes. I suspect you'll see Tigers wear it for some rounds in the EDF Cup.. and maybe the odd game here or there (pre-season for example), but that's about it. Total load of balls if you ask me.

premiership has been the oppsite for about 3 years now..
visiting team chnage kit home team can play in home strip..
but only if the kit clash.. and as someone has said not always just colour... they have to have one light strip and one dark strip...
glos's kit is classed as light which is why we could wear our Dark kit... glos's away kit is mainly dark blue http://gloucester.officialshop.net/home.php?cat=1
