Use of private emails - concern
I got an email from Nik this morning and then a follow up from her apparently responding to my reply.
Nik, I didnt send the reply! - so who did?
I have no issue with the content but am concerned as to how an email could have been sent purporting to be from me when it wasnt.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Did this reply (supposedly from you) come to Nik via email or via PM?
If email then that would involve someone actually having access to your regular email account (and therefore nothing to do with this site surely)?
If PM then that is worrying as it suggests someone has access to your forum account/password!

From the source code of the "rogue" PM the IP address of the true sender can be found. Get onto the moderators.
