New Vacancy at Welford Road

Post by BigHenryFan »

With the shock and unfortunate announcement of Paul Burke retiring coming so soon after the sacking of Marcelo Loffreda. Our beloved Leicester Tigers are a club firmly in crisis....

Just who is going to be our chief water carrier next season?

If you are interested in the vacancy please reply to this post and on receipt of all applications an announcement will be made within the next 10days to coincide with the appointment of Jake White....sorry our as yet undecided Head Coach.

Yours Sincerely
P. Tom

P.S This is only a light-hearted attempt at putting some fun back in to the forum. So your thoughts of who would make the best water carrier and why would be greatly appreciated. Personally I think James Buckland was always good for carrying a few pounds, come back all is forgiven!

P.P.S Thank you Burkey for all the nail-biting moments and I wish you well in your retirement.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall and he is a big bugga. Up the Tigers.

Ha ha, made me smile.

Cockers was always a half decent water boy. Perhaps he could be moved sideways in the organisation???

Failing that, get one of the props to do it. Fat boys always need more exercise. :smt002

Yeah, but Westy.. the guys actually need to get the water. Not for the pie eaters to get half way there then have to turn back because they're too slow.

Personally I'd like to see Oz as the water boy. He can wind up the opposition on his way.

Could we have one of those little remote control thingies? You know, it could carry the tee and then alternate with water. We could even make it look like a little Tiger.

Ok. I'll shut up :yawinkle: :smt005

I agree a remote control tiger that carrys water and everything else BUT as it passes the opposition it roars at them ,and depending on the referee stops by them and cocks its leg for a little light relief !!!!! :smt003 t x

like the idea of the remote control tiger BUT - who's going to be in charge of the remote control? assuming it's a bloke, won't we have a problem with swapping channels every 5 seconds?

Or if it has a female driver will it not get lost between the dug out and the stoppage ?

And for goodness sake don't ask it to reverse into a parking space. :smt012
