i have just returned from holiday abroad and bought a paper most days. in one of the reports on rugby(the mail i think)toby flood was quoted saying that he was looking forward to playing for leicester but it would be hard to get in the team in front of goode and mauger who had been playing well.sounds like he has signed to me!!
life is a roller coaster just got to ride it

From what I heard two other clubs were seriously interested in Flood, one being Bath to replace Barkley. But I agree with other posters - he has signed for us and will be revealed in due course.
I'm sure he is coming but it seems odd that they would confirm Woods (announced as leaving on the same day as Flood and tait) and not Toby Flood. Given that Flood was at least 3rd choice on our shopping list behind the 2 famous guys we missed out on you would think we would get the press conference sorted before the ink was dry on the contract!!!
Also, he is bigger box office than Woods so his announcement would be perfect to deflect some of the negative PR from the last few days!
Glad we got Woods though. We need a specialist 7 on the books to cover outside of the 3 games a season Moody plays, especially if Herring is off!
It'll all come good come september!

Did we have to break the bank to get a Flood?
Does anyone Noah reason why Flood wouldn't come?
Ark at me, eh.
If he didn't come, would we refer to the whole thing as Flood-gate?
