Will Flood now still come?

Post by g »

After the shananigans from the board regarding Loffreda. Will the players who still haven't been confirmed as joining us now come?

Was it Loff who wanted Flood or the Tigers mafia Back and Cockerill?

Hate to say this, but if he's got any sense he won't come, why come to a club that will stab you in the back.

He will leave Newcastle - but come to us- sadly no. Would you?

My understanding is that he is going to Bristol.

Bud

You say he is and Bill says he isn't :smt017 which one is it?

I think Cohen has a lot to answer for wasn't it he who was too slow on the Hernandez deal?

I bet Cohen won't get sacked though. And does this mean yet another season with Goode as number 10 and no decent FH signing.

Firstly, the RFU said in their programme against the Ba-Ba's he was joining us this summer

Second, a Wasps fan told us on the unoffy that when he did his little introduction part for England he said "Toby Flood, Leicester Tigers and England"

Thirdly, there has been numours people coming saying that they'd met him and he said he was coming. Also meeting Peter Tom who said the same.

Forth, Richard Blaze mentioned getting a good song for him to sing when Flood joining was discussed at the Awards.

Last, but not least, he has hinted to it several times through the media.

Just because the club hasn't announced it yet, doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

Apparently, Flood was really upset when Newcastle sacked Fletcher.
If he is coming to Tigers, the deal would have been done when ML was in charge.
- out of the pan and into the fire, Mr Flood.

If the deal was not done before today, I imagine we won't see him for dust.

Marcelo was not in charge of signing contracts. Simon Cohen is and was.

Independent: It has been announced that you are leaving Newcastle and reported, but not yet confirmed, that you will be joining Leicester. What can you say about your situation? Are you in limbo – and, if so, when do you expect the situation to be resolved?

Flood: I cannot comment any further than what is already known about my club situation. There will be an announcement within the next couple of weeks but everything has been signed and sealed for some time now. It is just a matter of waiting.

obviously that just means that he's signed a contract, but I am positive it is for us.

I know the RFU aren't the sharpest tool but they wouldn't put "Toby Flood who joins Leicester Tigers this summer" for a joke..
