Dammit not again! Where have you seen this Sammy? No sign of it on the RFU site unless I have missed it.

If that is correct, then the charge is one that I have not come across before.

Think the citing committee are starting to make it up as they go along now. It must have been a quiet week for them so have decided to watch a Tigers match and decide they need to cite a Leicester player. :smt018 . :smt009

Interesting wording for the charge. Could mean anything I suppose.

Seems a bit late to be levelling charges does it not?

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the tackle on Haughton - If that is what it is for, then it is ridiculous.

When watching the Super 14 game Reds versus Bulls, Latham was binned for a bit of gentle raking on the arm of a guy who was lying all over the ball. The Aussie commentators were aghast " What are they turning this game into" the said with incredulity

I have to agree - You are not allowed to ruck anymore, you are hardly allowed to scrummage any more and if they had their way it seems as if tackling is going to be done away with also - never mind amalgamating with rugby league lets go the whole hog and join up with Netball!!!

Steady on Mightymouse, you're getting carried away. We can't go down the netball route because they wear those special bibs and your could easily get an arm or a finger trapped in one of them and goodness knows what would happen then! :smt023

this must be for a remark but i only though on this is that the cite officer can only cite a player if said player does a late tackle or some thing the referee missed.

for what rab getting done for is a bit like the way the army goes section 69 of the army act (which they can charge you for being late for duty)

i noe seen the game of last week but heard it was good to watch

Well if the Club have not received it, and it's a strange "charge" - could it not be someone's idea of a wind up? Or just misinformation?

After all, you know my position on unofficial information :smt003

Iain, it came from a press release from the RFU - I get an absolute shedload of the things.

The charge wasn't clear, so it might not be for the tackle.

Seru's challenge did not look good from where I was sitting, though I have not seen it on tv.
