Ben, not sure what your getting at. Please could you provide a few more details if there is a problem that needs investigating?

I think Ben is talking about the forum being closed for a while this afternoon for "essential maintenance".
Ben, this type of thing happens reasonably regularly & I think a lot of the time it is Sotic doing things in the background like archiving/tidying servers which just reguire them to be taken offline for a short while.
We don't notice anything different when the site re-opens as none of it is cosmetic. It's usually just background stuff to keep sites like this one ticking over smoothly.

I am still having problems getting onto the message board it takes forever to get there that I just get fed up of waiting. The only reason I have posted now is that I waited for nearly 5 mins to get to it.
This is the only site I am having problems with all other sites I go to eg ebay etc I get on in quick time. So I do not think the problems are from my end.
