The greatest sporting ending (and piece of commentary) goes to Five Live and the 2003 world cup final....
"This is the one..............etc" with squeaky in the back ground screaming.
I have this on my alarm clock (sad but true) and it remains a wonderful way to greet the day.

It's not the winning or losing but the taking apart which matters.

A programmable alarm clock? What a brilliant idea.SPIKE@srufc wrote:The greatest sporting ending (and piece of commentary) goes to Five Live and the 2003 world cup final....

My favourite sporting end (although it has already been said) is the 2003 world cup final.
I have a video of a review of the same world cup and at the end with the England team on the podium posing with the world cup and "world in union" tune in the background makes me feel funny inside
Shame we couldn't re-create the same this year
