Hopefully, it's just something like a trapped nerve rather than anything to do with strokes or such like. Get well soon, Simon!

its a relief they are ruling out stroke though. hope its not as serious as it first seemed.

You know much more than I about these things orla, but cardiac sounds pretty serious to me.

cardiac is obviously pretty serious, but im hoping its a form that can be managed with meds.

stroke at his age would worry me a lot.

either way its not great but i thnk cardiac is preferrable to stroke.
