Travelling on Sunday

Post by Lily Tigrinum »

Sorry I can't find the threads for this one anymore.

We are trying to plan the travelling for Sunday, for a family of five.

Firstly does anyone know of any seats on a coach going from Leicester?

We are also considering letting the train take the strain, do the train operators put on extra coaches for these events or will we end up in a scramble on the platform, particularly going home.

Thanks

going on the train would be a gamble as they dont put extra coaches on...

go with the tiger travel club im sure they will have something going on..

I went with them to paris and dublin and they are the best coach service around :!:

I recommend the tigers coach travel, if you can get it.

Used them yesterday for the first time - very impressed, very relaxed way to travel!!

You won't get anthing from the travel club. All 32 coaches are full as are the Away Supporters. Could you not drive down? With 5 of you it would be much easier and cheaper - even allowing for car parking. You can often get parked in the streets off the A316 if you get there eraly enough. Some people were still getting in around noon yesterday as we were walking along Meadway.

Two suggestions for you.

Drive all the way to twickenham and go to a small school next to the West Car Park. I think it's on Wotton Road. Normal charge about £15 to park bt no bookings.

Or

Drive to Stanmore Rail Station and get tube/train the rest of the way. Exit J4 of M1 then ten minutes drive. Parking is £1 all Day.

Good Luck,
