Easy?

Post by Yelphere »

The chorus of "Easy-Easy" from the back of the Crumbie today were very poor form and not up to our usual sportsmanlike standards. I just hope they don't come back to haunt us at Twickers in 3 weeks.

It was a bit premature (Wasps scored 2 tries after it) and not really what we want to hear, in my opinion.

The 'easy' chant is one of the worst chance ever invented. It is on a par with 'who are ya' and 'liiiiiiverpoooollll, liiiiiiverpoooollll'

Hate it

Its all very well saying its just banter, it may well be at the bar or in conversation, but to chant it goes beyond that. Any chant supporting your team is welcome in my book, but not one slagging the opposition, that's where it crosses the line. Rounyball we ain't.

We heard "hee haw hee haw" (as in donkey) when one of theirs dropped/fumbled a pass. Can't say I heard anyone chanting "easy" from where I was.

Definitely were Soccer AM style "easy, easy" chants. Not a great fan of that myself. The Reclaim The Kop group at Anfield (Liverpool FC) have stated that they don't want to hear that at Anfield either. It just shows a moronic lack of respect.

I agree. Its a shame that some resorted to that. It might have stirred Wasps up at the end yesterday and may well do for the Final. They don't know about respecting the opposition and lets hope their moronic chants don't cause us problems in three weeks time.

yer won't get it an anfield no, cause soccer am's done by a chelsea fan!! tigers fans were chanting it at twickers for the EDF final too, don't really see it as offensive tho just a bit of light hearted banter, its funny.
