I haven't been on for a while due to work commitments, but I'm shocked by some of the threads and comments on here.
We showed on Sunday that we are some of the best fans but this forum is just not showing it at the moment and frankly I'm ashamed, I don't watch football for hatred that is shown so lets not stoop to those levels.

Can I just recount a story from the weekend...

Sat in a pub in Twickenham after the game, pretty tired. Big bunch of Ospreys fans walk past playing some kind of drinking game, so we followed them and ended up at this ace pub singing and dancing, and then some kind of nightclub (this is all pretty hazy). Anyhow, they were ace, and we had a very good time. They were more than happy to let a couple of drunk tigers fans with tigers shirts on join in their festivities, and it was the best post-match knees-up I've had for a long time.

Was in Southend the day before for Barnsley v Southend (football match). Police escort to and from the ground, and we were limited to pubs with signs on saying 'away fans only'. We were spat at and called all sorts. As always in an away game, felt thoroughly intimidated and let down by the whole occasion.

I personally want to thank the Ospreys fans as a whole for being a part of a really great day, and remind everyone that Rugby as an event is something to be cherished as a whole and not frowned upon, because any incidents pale in comparison with the pathetic hooliganism of Football.

Are you all molified yet?!

I think where tigers fans get up peoples noses is when they adopt the posture of other peoples moral superiors, in regard to the booing thing (both home and away).

It really rubs people up the wrong way - and you have seen what adopting this stance (moral superiors) leads too, and how it can be used as a outlet for all sorts of unpleasantness.

People at the end of the day only moralise at those they don't like.

Personally speaking, I don't moralise at anyone, but point taken. I have to say that some of the best times I've had at Tigers has been with Welsh and Irish fans (I'm sure I'd have fun with the Scottish and French ones too, I just haven't run into any of them!)

So, I agree - see you all for a pint before the game (and a few more afterwards too, whoever's celebrating).

Oh, and by the way, I had to take friendly banter from 2 Bath fans last year - and they were staying in my house!
