Is this also the same site that was berating Leo and Shane for not being loyal to the club the 'made' them into the players they are today, thereby earning the recall to the emerald isle ?
So I say fair play to him for being loyal to his club, and as for him being in his comfort zone, what a load of tosh. The guy never gives less than 100%. Probably another reason for some of his injuries.

Whose interest? Ha ha. Yeah Wilko can't make a break. And Falcons are gonna win the league...I'll be right back, my bacon sarnie has just flown offsalcombe bob wrote:just for interest i wouldn't be that chuffed if we did sign him. For me he can kick yes, but is not in the league of BOD for example as he can't make breaks for instance. I think the S. Hemisphere will be rubbing their hands at the prospect of Wilkinson, Farrell and Tindall.
I have no rpoblem with who he plays for - nice if Tigers if not so be it - i just think he has the capability to get better and better and could grace this years and the next world cup. My great fear is playing behind a pack and in a side like Newcastle's means he's forever going to be injured as he's an easy target with them going backwards. HOPE I'm WRONG.
I can't see him wanting to move, as he has a mansion and grounds in Newcastle area, a supportive family, who are involved in all his business and promotional deals, and a peaceful reclusive retreat.
I agree that he would benfit from playing with a top class club, but can never imagine him leaving his secure environment "up t' north"

I was born and raised in Leicester WC but would not want to live there as it is now. It's a dump, with more in common with Bombay than Newcastle.
I still support the Tigers, who I've supported since I was a kid, but anyone with any class or style, (I believe JW has it in buckets), would prefer to go almost anywhere than there.
It hurts me to say so but it's true. It's a crying shame.

Smudge, I find that quite offensive. Clearly noone in Leicester has any style or class ?Smudge wrote:I was born and raised in Leicester WC but would not want to live there as it is now. It's a dump, with more in common with Bombay than Newcastle.

As for the Bombay reference ...... are you related to Jade Goodey ?
Smudge I think it's Mumbai these days :) ( who says I'm not PC!) I thought I saw an article in the Guardian (more evidence that I am Mr PC !)a few months back stating Leicester was about to beome the first "white minority" town/city in England.....
I do agree with Smudge about one thing though, Leicester is one hell of a dump these days :)

HE isn't wasting his career, the arrogance of some people. HE's done well at enough at Newcastle, he ets to wrok with a great backline with some truely outstanding ENGLSIH talent (Tait, FLood, Noon, Visser, ect...). He's a good and loyal man.
Is, say, Moody wasting his talent by staying with an unperforming club like the Tigers when he could go to a mroe sucessful club like Wasps or Sale?
