Video (or in my case, audio only) highlights

Post by Cagey Tiger »

Have just had a go at viewing some of the video highlights. No picture, just sound. I have got WMP 10 installed and changed the settings as per the Video highlights page (not that they are probably relevant to my problem). I do not normally use WMP at all so have no idea what the problem might be, but have no doubt that it will be embarassingly simple. The WMP help was no help.

I'm seeing the video and hearing audio, but the video is stopping and starting and getting out of synch.

Leave it a while, I'll investigate if I can.

You can also use RealPlayer to watch AND listen to the clips. It could just have been a bandwidth problem though (Rizzo your's certainly sounds as if it was) which can be caused by the site, your ISP or even your local connection suffering a high loading.

I've played in both formats since and it's been working fine.

Yep, I would guess it was down to bandwidth in your case Rizzo - after Saturdays win I would not be surprised if the site was very busy.

I have Real Player installed, but even when I changed the file type for asx (which is what is run when you click on a clip hyperlink), it still ran WMP. I have even uninstalled WMP and now I get nothing at all when I click on a clip link.

Help!!!

Does anyone know when the Munster highlights are going to be put on there no reason for them not to, is there?

I get the clips working fine until about half way through and then they stop and just get a picture freeze with changes after a few minutes to another frame. Does this on all clips, any ideas?

It's not the winning or losing but the taking apart which matters.
