Wage Cap going up to £3 million?

Post by quincy »

The newspapers are reporting that the wage cap may be increased to £3 million. Will tigers then start to offer current and new players bigger deals in order to have some really big names playing for us again. Or will the (whenever it happens) new ground developemnt take most of it.
I still think that we are waiting for The city to go bust, which currently could be on the cards again when they let the new owner slip through their fingers and cant even afford 150K for a player, so we can then buy Walkers!

Why do you think we are in the market for big money imports ?

I think the club have been aware of the likely increase in the wage cap for some time, the media are just catching up.

They spoke about this as an option on the Rugby Club last night......

They also said the Tigers performance against Munster was the best they'd played since the Stade final 4-5 years ago.
