I’m a bit of a fence sitter on this one; I love Welford Road and generally think that the game should be played there – mainly because I want to be standing on a terrace. But I hate, with a passion, having the uncertainty of getting a ticket – even as a full season ticket holder it’s not guaranteed.

The atmosphere at the Walkers Stadium against Bath was, in my opinion, electric. Putting flags on every seat was a master stroke straight out of the Munster book, and I got to take the family.

Had we beaten Bath (like we should have done) that day I don’t believe we would be having this debate, and don’t forget we lost to Munster in the quarters at Welford Road before we started using the Walkers Stadium.

I firmly believe we’d beat Stade at either venue – all this hoodoo superstitious nonsense is just ridiculous.....so fingers crossed eh?

I think all full season ticket holders are guaranteed one ticket, thats why they stopped ... 25% of 16,800 something... they then sell GP tickets who don't get first shout to things like the QF at welford road.... my calcs may be slightly wrong but i think thats when they cut off the ticket sale.... rememeber last eyar as well each season ticket holder could buy 2 tickets... i support the choice for welford for the QF's even though it is likely i wont get a ticket... roll on the semis'

I'm going to have to pay 20 odd quid to stand in the rain. great.
I hope that was said in jest. If not, then I'm certain there will be people keen to take a ticket that you didn't want. Standing in the rain or not.
No it's just a bit annoying, it was the missus' birthday yesterday and i'm skint as it is, then I have to go and find another 20-30 quid to downgrade my usual seat to standing up. I'm 6 ft 3 now though so might have a bit of a better view in the crumbie compared to when i was last in it at 5ft 6 a few years ago.

Ticket prices always go up the further you go in a cup competition.

Anyone seen the prices for the world cup final this year?
Swansea Cricket & Football Club - The First British Club Side To Beat The All Blacks, Springboks & Wallabies.
The Ospreys The First Welsh Region To Beat A Touring Side
