1st off England wern't outplayed-out-defended certainly, and well done to Scotland for it. England where goiong to get found out some time if we stuck with that rediculas forward gameplan, (Ohh, I wonder what where going to do ehre-run straight into the oppersition, what a suprise). Scotland realsied that England where just going to ahmmer them up front and defended brilliantly. Okay so they didn't play much rugby-but nor did England.

2nd, the ref was poor, he was inconsitant, blew up a MINUATE early for half time, when Engladn wehre in accedancy, gave several dubious peniltys to Scotland and generally gave the blues to upper hand. i don't think that he was baised but I think he was incompitant.

3rd, if England had played RUGBY and used OVERLAPS they would have won, we can all blame the ref/Ellis/Sheridan/Grewcock/Lewsey ect. but the hard facts is that England had a gameplan, (to play forward/10 man rugby) and refused to change. Scotland realised this. I noticed that several times your wingers went inside to cover for your Centers when they went into tackle without fear of giving away an overlap becasue the ball was never going to get beyond Noon.
