Where is Golborne you may ask. It is a village 6 miles from Wigan, 7 from Warrington and 9 from St. Helens. Not what you would call the hotbed of Rugby Union (apart from being the birthplace of Fran Cotton) I was at the open evening of the local high school (only plays League by the way) and there, in front of me, was the familiar Red White and Green home shirt. I was suited up as I'd come straight from work. Turns out the guy isn't even from Leicester, just happens to be a big Union fan, and obviously supports the Tigers.

Ever seen a Wigan Rugby League shirt in Leicester?
