The Price of Fame?

Post by Lea »

I am unsure as to weather Ollie Barclay is happy about his injury being publicised...I would be unhappy if people saw me in the street and shouted "hows your B***ocks mate"

I will leave it there

Thoughts anyone?

I bet that hurt. Is the Barf physio a woman? I bet she would have had fun TRYING to sort that injury out.

I wouldn't want to speculate as to how he did it or what precisely he has done. In any case, from one man to another, I feel his pain. No injury to that part of your anatomy is a good one!

Not really that interested in Olly Barkley's tackle - more concerned about the mention of Goodey's knee and Cozza taking a knock. Too many injuries!!

Tiger eye i have to point out at this point that I am actually a guy.

I wasnt really highlighting the injury...I was tryingh to highlight the fact that Mr Ollie Barclay has had his injury...which I would consider to be a little personal...announced to the entire world.

I wonder if it was the same injury that struck Budge Poutney?

as long as it wasn't like the injury suffered by (I think?) Wayne Shelford in a similar...area.... even I, as a woman, winced at that one!

Rizzo, I reckon Shelford's response to that injury (i.e.e pick it up and carry on playing!!!) rates him as the hardest man who ever lived.

Extraordinary!

Not knowing who Wayne Shelford was or what happened, I've just looked it him up on Wikipedia.

I don't think I've ever felt more uncomfortable.

I agree with Gonzo, I don't think many people's reaction to that injury would have been to ask the physio to stitch it up and carry on playing.
