Saturday's kick off time

Post by WiganTiger »

I'm assuming it must have been moved for TV purposes, but I've checked the schedules and BBC are showing the Insects v Cardiff. There's no clash with Wendyball because City are away. Can anyone enlighten me? I'm not complaining because a 5.30 kick off means I've got all day to drive down the M6!

It's because it's being shown live on S4C i.e. the Welsh version of Channel 4!

You can pick it up on Sky as it is free to air but I don't know about Freeview, Cable etc. I seem to remember I had to call S4C to get their channel on Sky

For those of you watching on sky and who can't speak the language of heaven, do what we've been doing in wales for years - turn the sound off and put the radio on.

I presume that Radio Leicester will be broadcasting on FM as the girlball will have finished by then but if you want decent commentary 882 mw for Radio Wales but the reception might be bit iffy that late in the day.

I can't wait for Cockers to be interviewed by Ray Gravell that should be a real culture clash.

a friend of mine says she always turns off the commentary even if it's Sky because she can't stand Mr Barnes's comments!

The (English) subtitles on S4C are quite amusing ...... usually running about 30 seconds behind the play, with the occasional very odd (mis)translation !
