The Forum

Post by Bill W »

I do not wish to participate in a forum where, when I try to arramge attendence at a devolpment game with friends the moderator accuses me of trying to "buy a date - and hence by implication that my firends are prostitutes.

Or one where I seek to give hospitatlity to visitting supporters I am branded "a perv who is trying to get his leg over" despite the fact ghat on the date in question I shall be overseas - with the tacit support of the moderator

These issues are currently the subjsct of litigation.

Let the riugby talk.

Indeed.

Ospreys lost.

Leinster lost

So be it.

Amen.

Yeah!!!

And no doubt Ospreys and Leinster played "pretty" rugby. An their fans got totatally paralytic afterwards.

These are acceptable sunjects for debate on this forum.

So you are curerently threatening legal action against individuals, moderators and/or the club for comments made on this website that you feel were offensive/abusive/insulting?

Does the phrase "pot calling the kettle black" spring to mind Bill? Wasn't it you who were responsible for an abusive campaign against a previous moderator & responsible for him leaving the website?

Also, before you consider wasting time & effort on pointless litigation, don't forget that, in reistering for this forum, you agreed to abide by the forum's terms & condtions, including the following:
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

Therefore, in summary, I think you are making an Everest-sized mountain out of a molehill and are wasting your own time & effort.

I would have thought someone of your supposed intellect would have understood the idiot you are making of yourself with these comments but clearly not.

Not happy with driving out one moderator, you now seem intent on single-handedly closing down the forum as well!

Also Bill, I would be VERY careful about what you say regarding unsubstantiated assumptions made by yourself about comments made by others as this could open you yourself up to the risk of libel action.

Falsely accusing the moderator of implying the things you claim (when I understand that no such implications were actually made) is putting you on very dodgy ground!

Especially the second accusation; namely that of tacit support by a moderator!

It looks, to an outsider, as though you have a one-man campaign going on hre as you willingly name the author of the first comment, but don't do so with the second. Though you do still manage to link the moderator to them, even though he wasn't the author.

What personal grudge do you have against Iain here?

I am not threatening anything.

And i more that anyone else implored Tim to stay as moderator. A ndif you check with him he will confirm.

And as I have said on many occasions privately and openly, despite the open insutls to me and my frineds, Iain has my support

As i am repearedly asked to do , can we stay with the rugby:

Ospreys lost

Leinster lost

Falcons lost!

Can you stay on rugby please?

You too signed up not to trade insults!

You may well say you "implored him to stay" but I remember tjs10's comments at the time & he blamed you for him leaving. No smoke without fire...

As for you saying Iain has your support, why then do you say you are instigating litigation against him? Doesn't sound very supportive from where I am!

As for "staying on the rugby", if that is really your feeling, why did you start this thread in the first place?

You stated that the comments were the subject of litigation and, by accepting the Ts& Cs of the forum, the only person you can take action against is the author of those comments: ie Iain, as the only author you named.

As for your claim that you only stared this thread to discuss the ML results, why then did you bother to write the first three paragraphs & not just discuss the ML results?

For your information, the ML results did pass me by as I was more interested in the Newcastle v Worcester game & the impact that Wilkinson's new injury will have on his future in the sport, than on results from a league I don't follow in a country in which I don't live.

Of course JW is injury porne - he was ever thus - he should have gone to play Amreican football years ago (well 1 at least).

Since it is of no interest to you I will npot bore youn with comments on the Celtic League - much to the chagrain of the many readers of this forum.

Oh - and btw the writers , moderators and publishers are named in the litigation.
